Portrait Skin Regeneration (PSR)

How would you look with brighter, firmer facial skin? What if age spots, wrinkles, and sun damage were erased? Now you can experience a new, more youthful reflection every day with Solaris' Portrait Plasma Skin Regeneration (PSR) by Rhytec.

Purpose

With nitrogen plasma gas to heat the dermis and tighten skin, plasma skin regeneration can reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and diminish pigmentation imperfections. We can make your face, neck, chest, and hands look years younger!

Non-Surgical Procedure

During the procedure, heat from nitrogen plasma passes through the epidermal layer to break down the deeper dermal layer. As the dermal layer heals and regenerates, the epidermis serves as a biological band-aid. Epidermis sloughs off in three to seven days, revealing new, smoother, virgin epidermal skin with tighter pores, fewer wrinkles, and a more youthful complexion.

Moreover, the underlying dermis, stimulated by the heat of the plasma, continues to produce collagen. Months later, there is ongoing regeneration of the skin's architecture. Research has shown that, “patients reported a 68-percent improvement in overall facial appearance.”

Treatment Time

Recommended treatments:

  • One high-energy treatment that may take 90 to 120 minutes and will require an anesthetic block and/or anxiety-reducing medication. Patients are encouraged to have a driver to take them to and from our office, particularly if they treated with the high energy procedure.
  • Three low-energy treatments, one month apart, may take 60 to 90 minutes and usually requires a topical anesthetic.
  • Laser 360 requires three (3) different lasers (pixel, skin tightening, and photofacial) over 60 days, thus "Laser 360." While many would agree that the Portrait may provide “more bang for the buck” and more quickly, the Laser 360 requires no anesthesia, offers less recovery, and potentially better results for reducing acne scars.

Anesthetic

A single, high-energy treatment may require some anesthetic blocks and more recovery time (five to seven days), while three low-energy treatments may only require a local topical anesthetic and less recovery time (three to five days).

Results

You'll see continually emerging results up to 12 months after treatment.
