History

The Myers IV cocktail was developed by Baltimore doctor John Myer, MD in the 1970s. Today, the medical providers who more commonly prescribe the nutritional IV are holistic-minded physicians, such as naturopaths (NMDs or NDs) and a few holistic, but conventionally trained MDs.

Non-Surgical Procedure

Given the high dose of vitamin C, glutathione, B-vitamins, minerals (Mg and Ca) and saline, the Myer’s IV cocktail can rehydrate, revitalize, augment the immune system, and help detoxify the liver from drugs and disease. The affordable treatment can be performed often, so many patients schedule a monthly appointment, while others come in one or two times per week during cold and flu season. Treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes.
