Photofacial

With age, sun damage to exposed skin, typically on the face, neck, chest, and arms, may induce spots or splotchy areas of hyper pigmentation. The photo-facial laser treatment is designed to bring to the surface and slough off these areas of hyper pigmentation. Photo-facial Skin Rejuvenation is done with an Intense Pulse Light (IPL) instrument. The Photo-facial IPL treatments can improve rosacea, sun damaged skin, age spots, skin texture and photo aging. While many contend that the photo-facial IPL treatment can also reduce mild acne scars, large pores, dark circles under the eyes, and fine lines and wrinkles, I would argue that lines, wrinkles, and scars may be better treated with fractional Pixel and/or Portrait PSR.

Photo-facial treatment involves no "downtime". You can resume normal activities immediately. The treatment may involve some bearable discomfort normally. However, we offer the combined use of a Zimmer cooler that blows cool to cold air over the treated areas to desensitize the skin's nerve endings that aid the client's comfort.

Due to the potential unwanted discomfort from the laser, a Zimmer cooling can be applied to desensitize the area, thereby making the procedure more tolerable.
