Laser 360 (Microdermabrasion, Photofacial, Pixel, Skin Tightening)

The Laser 360 protocol requires 3 different lasers (Pixel, Skin Tightening, & Photofacial) over 60 days, thus "Laser 360". While many would agree that the Portrait provides "more bang for the buck" and more quickly, the major advantage that the Laser 360 offers is no requirement of anesthesia, no or very little recovery time, and potentially greater skin resurfacing with the Pixel that can be tailored to the individual needs of the patient, and greater skin tightening if the Accent XL radio frequency is substituted for the usual skin tightening laser.

The idea of the Laser 360 protocol is to provide facial rejuvenation.

The photofacial provides removal sun-induced spots, and splotchy areas of hyperpigmentation. See the enhanced description above.

Pixel fractional skin resurfacing creates thousands of tiny perforations in the skin. The skin around these holes remains intact and the epidermis, the top layer of skin, heals from the edges of these "holes". Thus, in increments, a "fraction" of the skin is resurfaced at a given time. Skin resurfacing is ideally used for wrinkle effacement and to diminish scars, to improve skin texture, to minimize the appearance of fine lines. See the enhanced description above.

The Alma Skin Tightening (ST) Laser stimulates the collagen to contract to tone and tighten the skin that is sagging due to age, and repeated UV damage by the sun, and lack of humidity.

Microdermabrasion by the DermaSweep MD microdermabrasion unit provides a sweeping handpiece that brushes away dirt and oil off the skin. Although microdermabrasion is not part of the Laser 360 protocol, Solaris Medical, aka Solaris Med Spa can add this treatment to remove excess oil and dirt to allow the 3 following lasers (photofacial, pixel, & skin tightening) to more deeply penetrate the skin to afford a more effective therapy and facial rejuvenation.
